- How to become a drone pilot
Piloting a drone is not as easy as you seen on Youtube. Almost all of the videos are demonstrated by experts who spent their time much more than everybody else with drones. Some courses are open for people who want to master drone piloting and it is the most appropriate way to be a drone pilot. However, at least some steps might be useful to know if you want to be a drone pilot. Following are some steps for beginner drone pilot to consider.
Number one is you need to select appropriate drone for yourself. Different drone has different fans and to select the best one just consider skill level, use case and budget. For beginner you need smaller size drone so you can start flying it indoor to familiarize your self with controller and sometimes you need to fly the drone outdoor moderately. By this practice you can be more comfortable to operate your drone.
Number two, you need to practice perhaps most important part of drone piloting: hovering and landing in place. You will make adjustments when increasing the drone slowly from its sitting position. The point is you need to make control it as soft as possible. Landing Markers are very useful to help you knowing how expert you are at landing skills.
Number Three, flying in a circle is next to be practiced. It requires good balance between pitch, yaw, roll and throttle control. For example, to adjust circular flying you need to increase the throttle or to make size adjustment just lessen the angle of right stick and throttle. After you have been able to fly your drone in circle, next is to fly the drone with 8 pattern. This start from doing wide angle turn to the right side and slowly bring the drone return to the left. Afterward, do the same with opposite direction. Bear in mind that it is not easy to master, so you need much of patience.
